Origin of Ametsuchi

~ Origin ~

In ancient times, when the concept of Earth as we know it today did not exist, "Ame" referred to the sky, and "Tsuchi" to the land.

"Ame-tsuchi" represented the boundless sky and earth that stretched before one's eyes, encompassing the very essence of Earth and the universe itself.

As the opening words of the Kojiki state, "In the beginning, there was Ame-tsuchi...," people revered this "Ame-tsuchi" and lived in harmony, without fear.

Today, we are often consumed by our daily lives, forgetting something important: "Humans are creatures born from the Earth.

" By connecting with pieces of the Earth, we are reminded that we are part of this beautiful blue planet, "Earth," shining among countless stars in the universe.

Our Commitment

~ The message we want to convey ~

"The material is born from the earth and returns to the earth;

it is a fragment of heaven and earth."

Grateful for the blessings of nature,

A gift from the earth

We offer this in a variety of forms.

"Comfort in harmony with the Earth"
