Ametsuchi.. is a brand founded on the concept that “materials are born from the Earth and return to the Earth.”

Using soil, sand, and stones from across Japan, we create items that bring the power of the land into everyday life.

As sisters, we work together to reconnect people with the Earth.

We create items that let you feel the Earth’s gifts through touch, such as sand pillows filled with sand from Izumo and the Tottori Sand Dunes, small stones from Awaji, and marble candle holders made from Akiyoshido Cave in Yamaguchi Prefecture.

"MAGMA" gently captures the Earth's heartbeat and memories on fabric and Japanese paper, using volcanic lava and soil from the land.

Dyeing

Each piece of fabric, including hemp and wild silk, as well as traditionally handcrafted Japanese paper, is carefully dyed by hand using volcanic rocks and soil from various regions of Japan.

These earth-infused dyes allow you to feel the energy rising from deep within the Earth itself.

Touching them brings a sense of deeper breathing—a precious moment to reconnect with the Earth and return to your true self.
