During the Heian period, aristocratic women would sew together the top and bottom of a bag (heaven and earth, or ametuchi) at the beginning of the year to create amulet bags called "ame-tsuchi no bag" in the hope of bringing them lots of good fortune.
With this in mind, we filled it with beautiful sand and pebbles and named it "Gold and Silver Sand."
Just place it anywhere on your body.
When you touch a piece of the earth, you feel a sense of calm and "resonance with the earth."
That's probably because we humans are also part of the Earth.
When you warm it up and place it on your body, the pieces of earth gradually warm you up, and you feel as if your body and mind are relaxing.
If you use it chilled, you can expect a soothing sensation, as if the sand is removing excess.

Using the beautiful sand from Shimane Prefecture as a base, the bag is made from organic cotton and packed with pebbles from Awaji Island, Ise, and various parts of Shikoku.
"Namimakura" is a word that describes sleeping on a ship while traveling, listening to the sound of the waves at your pillow.
It means to take a nap.
The name was chosen with the hope of providing a peaceful and comfortable sleep.
We use carefully selected, beautiful sand from Shimane Prefecture.
